It's getting hot here! Sitting under the tent near the beach shower and sketching various models changing every few seconds was a perfect chilling action for such a melting days!

The smell of summer

Gentle spring weather was perfect to enjoy the beaches in theirs best. Here are some sketches I did during the last month at different beaches in Tel Aviv - as always plenty of characters and atmosphere.

Last beach days

Today we had a perfect beach day - Israel Indian summer is the best for enjoying the sea.
I brought with me my markers which I didn't use for a while, it was fun!

Visit to the North

We went for a two nights at the north with our young daughter and a family of our friends - a bit of nature for the end of summer.Here are some sketches done there.

Here are some recent sketches done on a beach - a perfect place for sketching free models in action.
Yes, it's hot and noisy, and the amount of choices is so big that it takes a while to filter and to choose what to sketch. And yes, the models are moving all the time - but isn't this part of the challenge and what makes sketching on a beach so fun?
