Sketch Your World!

I was lucky to by invited by James Hobbs, one of my favorite sketches, to take a part in his new book - Sketch Your World. Finally I got this wonderful book, full of inspiring stories behind the sketches, new approaches, tips and... sketches, of course :)

The Art of Urban Sketching - the book!!!

Last week I saw many posts from my fellows urban sketchers - one by one receiving the book. Finally it arrived here as well! I have to say that after all this expectation I was highly excited to hold this beautiful book in my hands! I didn't have time to read it properly yet, but from a quick leafing I can say that "The Art of Urban Sketching" is a real treasure full of tips and surprises. And, of course, I'm very proud that my sketches are part of it in a very respected company! Here are pages featuring my sketches beside my original sketches:

Being urban sketcher allows me to get out to a journey every day without leaving my town. Now, thanks to this book, I'm going to travel over 50 cities all over the world! Special thanks to Gabi Campanario who puts all this stuff together!
The book is available on Amazon and it's must book for all sketching-on-location lovers!

Memories from Lisbon

I'm very excited - today I've got my copy of "Urban Sketchers in Lisbon" - the book that put together amazing experience 2nd Urban Sketchers Symposium. What a memories! I'm turning pages of the book and feeling again the energies of the symposium - sketching among more than 200 sketchers from all over the world. Finally meeting in person the people behind the sketches! Exploring together the beautiful city of Lisbon, chatting, eating together, switching tools and sketchbooks and, of course, sketching, sketching and sketching...
the book and my Lisbon sketchbook, opened on one of the sketches which is featured in the book.
The beautiful cover is a sketch of  Largo Camões by Frank Ching and the book is in Portuguese and English. It is available on amazon.
Speaking about memories - here you can see more my sketches and some photos from the Symposium:
