ultraMARIN Sketch

I upload here my sketches from the last Sketchcrawl at Jaffa, done at that sunny Friday after rain period. We enjoyed a lot as always - the weather and the nice company! entrance to the Casino San Remo the square and the sketchers Jerusalem Boulevard  We finished as usual with food and... more sketching ;)

Last weekend we had one of those perfect winter weekends - blue skies with airy clouds and a gentle winter sun, that won't burn you, like in its cruel sister in summer would. On Saturday I felt that the best place to sense this summer in the middle of the winter was on the beach, so we went there. We bought ice cream and sat down on the grass, beside the path leading to the beach. People passed up and down, I was trying to capture them, passing in front of me, feeling that I'm looking at a very dynamic play, with extremely talented actors ;)

Some sketches from the rainy Saturday we spent with our youngest daughter and her friend in the museum. starting with the jazz concert for children the girls got headphones with guided tours - and had been busy ;) museum visitors making funny compositions I love museum guards - they are looking so serious!

The year has started in Israel with "stormy" weather. Ok, it's probably regular European autumn weather, but here we're waiting for some "wind+rain+even snow" all the year. As a Russian-born girl, few drops of rain couldn't frighten me, and yesterday in company of two other brave fellow sketchers we went to sketch the storm ;) We've set down in a coffee shop on the beach, and as the beach was totally erased by the wild waves, I felt like I was sitting directly by the sea. It's so difficult to transform the atmosphere, the sounds, the salty smell... But it was a great experience, and that what's matter at the end!
