Last Thursday our local USk group was invited again to be correspondents of the Municipality of Tel Aviv event - "One Moment, art in unsuspected places". As usual, the combination of live shows, various public and great company worked perfect! This year Urban Sketchers Israel were invited again to take a part in the Municipality of Tel Aviv event "One Moment - Art in Unexpected Spaces". We were invited to be reporters of the event and also one of its attraction - sketching "live" all we see around. Sketchcrawls are always fun, but being "reporters" of such a colorful event, when all kind of artists from various areas perform for the Tel-Avivian audience inside the municipality building - place they use to see when they pay taxes and fines - this is a very special and fun experience! stand-up comedy DJ improvisation people in the hall girls rock band "Yes Ma'am!" people listening to the "Yes Ma'am" reading poetry  guards are enjoying as well beer stand woman dances rock'n'roll alone guy with dreadlocks takes selfie couple hugging couple dancing Music+sketching+some beer=happiness formula worked big time...

Last Thursday our local Urban Sketchers group were invited by Tel Aviv municipality to take a part in the event called "One Moment - Art in Not Expected Spaces". For the one night City Hall was "occupied" by various artists - musicians, performers, visual artists; public could watch shows, to participate in workshops, to see exhibition and so on... It was our first official experience of reportage drawing as a group, and it was so fun and challenging! Groups of people came and gone, stopped to see the exhibition, sat down to rest and to hear the music, stood in the lines to the different shows, gathered around performers and so on... Here are what I succeed to "catch". As usual, we put at the end our sketches on the floor - how different was everyone expression from the same event! So, that's the the one of the benefits of on-location drawing, and its difference from the photography - every sketch passed through the very perso...
